This project merges a Participatory Action Research project with the delivery of Certificate III in Youth Work and Certificate II in Community Services programs in Wugularr. The goal of this training was to up skill local community members to fill a number of part time positions available at the Wugularr Youth Centre operated by the Sunrise Health Service. The goal of the research was for Charles Darwin Univerity to look at ways which we can improve community engagement and customise VET delivery to achieve better outcomes for this community, including holistic assessment through asset based community projects.
